Svetol® is a natural plant extract of decaffeinated green coffee rich in active components.
Obtained from unroasted coffee beans of the Robusta variety (Coffea canephora robusta Pierre), Svetol® possesses a unique composition. Its effectiveness has been clinically proven.

The benefits of Chlorogenic acids on our health have been demonstrated in numerous scientific studies.
The study by Richelle et al. confirms the anti-oxidant power of Chlorogenic acids from coffee. Furthermore, it shows that the anti-oxidant power is approximately twice as superior to that of drinking chocolate. The works of Bandyopadhyay et al. and Jiang et al. equally confirm the benefits of Chlorogenic acids on our health.
Svetol® is rich in Chlorogenic acids. A dose of 400 mg of Svetol® corresponds to the equivalent of 3 to 6 cups of coffee (depending on the quality of the coffee and the method of preparation). However, Chlorogenic acids are not the only active components in Svetol®. Svetol® also contains caffeic acid, well known for its anti-oxidant power. The studies carried out by the NAT'Life division of Naturex have shown that caffeic acid possesses a strong anti-oxidant power, notably limiting the oxidation of lipids in the liver.
Svetol® is a particular and unique composition. Further more, this composition guarantees the absence of certain molecules present in coffee which the scientific world agrees has potential harmful effects on the health, especially in high consumption. It is the reason why Svetol® is guaranteed free of cafestol and kahweol and contains less caffeine than a quarter of a cup of coffee.
