Robusta or Arabica?

Made exclusively from a particular variety of Robusta, Svetol® is a green coffee extract which contains a high level of active components, including Chlorogenic acids.

About 65% of worldwide coffee production is Arabica and 35% is Robusta.

The Arabica crop is primarily grown in Central America and in South America.  Arabica is the most consumed variety of coffee, in beverage form, due to its superior quality and aroma.

Robusta typically grows in Central and West Africa, South-East Asia, and Brazil.  Robusta contains twice as much Chlorogenic acid as Arabica. The acid is responsible for the bitterness of coffee and gives Robusta its characteristically strong flavor.
